Au revoir, mon Mac.

Dear reader,

I write to you in great dismay. I have lost someone near and dear to me. She was a great part of my life, and yet she is no more. I find myself lost as well as bored without her; I am cut off from society when she is not with me. Oh Penelope! Come back, my fair white, come back.

It is true. Penelope is no longer with us, or me to be more precise. Her delicate Macbook screen was broken a few days ago, and she has been rendered useless. I have shipped her off to the great Macbook goddess, offering her monetary compensation if she may so heal the blackened screen. Unfortunately, the Macbook is quite busy, and Penelope will not be with me for a solid two weeks. Whatever shall I do!

I am already feeling withdrawals without my trusted Mactop. In class, I am reduced to taking notes with pen and paper. Imagine the horror! Facebook and Twitter have become unattainable goods to my technologically deprived being. I have to go the library to type to school papers. Simply thinking about these wretched occurences make my skin crawl.

Godspeed, Penelope. For without you, I am dying a slow and technologically painful death!

The Uni Man

Hello my small, but loyal readership. If you note today's title, you may question as to what exactly that means. No, he's not a unicorn man. Oh contrare!  He is the Unicycle Man.

For the past week, the Unicycle Man has been a hot topic on my campus. Why then do I blog about him today? Well, on the bus ride to school this morning, I spotted Unicycle Man (here to referred to as UM) following behind my bus. He was riding at the same speed as us! It reminded me of a little dog, chasing a bike. UM being the dog, the bus being the bike.

Why is UM different from all the other unicyclers? What makes him special?

UM this past weekend mastered a great feat. He unicycled 120 miles! The journey took him 15 hours. I think that this is quite an accomplishment. How many people can say they unicycled over 100 miles? Not many!

Unicycle: why have two wheels, when one you can have one?

Labor Day

Happy Labor Day to all!

I had the perfect labor day weekend. It began with a bar-b-que poolside. Yesterday consisted of nothing but Law & Order and munching on snacks.

Agenda for today: NCIS marathon. I'm in heaven.

Reasons I Hate my Night Class

Finance night class from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

  1. It's at night. Who goes to school at night? Well me now, but I'm not happy about it. Hence the list.
  2. My teacher, who is around 75 years old, obnoxiously coughs slash clears his throat every 8 minutes. "Now, uh, finance is necessary to ughhahahaugh understand the management of a ughughah corporation." Aggravation.
  3. My 89 year old teacher also drinks Dr. Pepper. I hate Dr. Pepper. Gross.
  4. It was 40 degrees in the classroom. I was wearing shorts and a tank top. Brrr.
  5. The guy behind me smells like gasoline.
  6. The guy to the right of me smells like smoke.
  7. My nose is running.
  8. I'm hungry and my stomach keeps loudly growling. Emberassing.
That's what I have so far. I'm sure next week when I am forced to suffer through another three hour long torture session, I may discover more reasons for hatred.

Adios until then.

Sunshine and Air

Today is the perfect day. Weather wise that is. It's a comfortable 70 degrees and the sun is shining and calling me outside. Thus, on my hour break between classes I am that loser sitting outside by herself on her laptop, sipping on iced coffee.

I can't help it. I love to be outside on these days, and I feel like I never get to bond with the sun anymore what with work, school, homework, and such.

Don't worry Sun. Today, you and I will have quality time together.
